Winter festival events are a go! Poor trail conditions have forced us to cancel the race portion only.
The course is relatively flat using farm fields, a railway bed and hardwood bush. It is groomed by the local snowmoblie association and is 10 - 14 feet wide. Easy enough for rookies and fast enough for the top racers. It is a full loop with no head on passing.
Jim Cunningham is the race marshal for this race. With 19 years of racing experience and 8 years of race marshal experience, he has helped the Town of Cannington's volunteers and supporters to turn the Cannington race into one of the best races in Ontario, if not Canada.
