Jamaica Dogsled Team

The Jamaica Dogsled Team (JDT) is coming to the Cannington Dog Sled Races. It may sound crazy at first, but wait until you see him race! Musher Damion Robb will be racing in the 6-Dog as well as the 4-Dog class, which will give everyone the opportunity to see why this is one Jamaican who loves the snow.

Robb spends most of the year in Jamaica at Chukka Cove working for Chukka Caribbean Adventures, one of the team’s sponsors. He trains for his short, fast races with a dry-land dune buggy cart. In 2011 Robb finished first in all his races and was awarded the Ontario Federation of Sleddog Sports Triple Crown Six Dog. He is expected to do well again this season.
